YCH: The two

This piece is very hard to critique, it is beyond my skill level and as is, it's hard to point out mistakes so I would rather do a little analysis about your artwork What caught my eye about it is that the fur is beautifully done! (Actually, it caught my eye because I love wolves, foxes and other canines but it is not an important part of my critique). I don't know what program you use but this is really your strong point and maybe you could push that even forward with more details. The two foxes look really cute but it could have helped if you chose another color for the background, like blue or green or any other that is not similar to the canids' fur color and a bit lighter. This way you did them, they blend in way too much in the background. The blurriness of the lines is also a bit bothering though it may be just my personal preference. The shading looks a bit unfinished, like if it was a sketch, but if it's a YCH, then it's understandable. In YCHs, you do only an amount of details that you are paid for. If it wasn't an YCH, then I would say you could go over the picture with more shading and light layers to make it even more 3D-like but I'm sure the commissioner will love it anyways. Those big shimmery eyes are beautiful and make the two animals even cuter! *____* I hope my feedback was somewhat useful for you though I could not do such a beautiful work myself. Keep up the great work!
